Environmental Resources Trust Launches New Radio/Internet Public Service Campaign to Boost Green Power Markets

Washington, DC -- In an effort to promote and help develop U.S. green power markets in the residential and commercial sectors, Environmental Resources Trust (ERT) has today launched the first phase of its new buyGREEN.net public education campaign.

This new campaign, which features a 60-second radio public service announcement and a new website, aims to educate Americans about the powerful potential of clean, renewable energy --"green power" -- to supply our energy needs, and the consumer choice we can make right now for green power.

The PSA, entitled "Imagine the Wind", has been distributed to over 300 radio stations in 5 U.S. markets, Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina, Illinois, and the Detroit area. Visit the campaign's new website, www.buygreen.net, where you can listen to the campaign's radio public service announcement and learn more about the campaign. Environmental Resources Trust (www.ert.net) is an innovative non-profit organization based in Washington DC that pioneers markets and promotes renewable energy in order to protect and improve the environment and economy.
